Museum Multimedia “The Land Before Time” video/dvd Test copies Overview: Students will be able to have a base
knowledge of common dinosaurs and will be able to identify them. Students will also be able to identify
certain parts of dinosaurs, along with where they live and what they ate. Students
will be given approved websites for further exploration to do various
activities Some
non-technology based student activities will include various worksheets and
mazes. Student

Dinosaurs with the Watermelon Activity Put
the pre-painted watermelons (eggs) in the playground in a “nest”
And have the students find the “nest” Explain
that dinosaurs came from eggs Bring out Velociraptor
Skull and show to the class – explain that the bone structure underneath the skin and is called
“fossils” Have
